Privacy and cookies

This notice describes how PharmCom handles personal data in connection with pharmcom.cz and business enquiries. It is adapted from PharmCom’s Medinova privacy information for this website.

1. Controller and contact

2. Business enquiries

When you email us, we process your email address, contact details and the contents of your message to respond and discuss potential cooperation. Depending on the circumstances, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in business communication or taking steps at your request before entering a contract. We retain correspondence for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, the business relationship, legal obligations or the protection of legal claims.

3. Website operation and recipients

When you visit, technical information such as IP address, request time and browser information may be processed to deliver and secure the website and prevent abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website. Our hosting and infrastructure providers, including OpenAI and Cloudflare, and email providers, including FORPSI and Google, may process information as necessary to provide their services. Access is limited to authorised people and service providers.

Some providers operate internationally, so processing may involve transfers outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, are used.

4. Cookies and measurement

The hosting provider may use technical cookies and similar technologies to protect and operate the website, including Cloudflare’s __cf_bm security cookie when applicable. With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to measure visits and clicks on the email contact link. Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_* and may process device identifiers, browser information and usage data. Analytics loads only after you agree. We do not enable advertising personalisation or Google signals. Your choice is stored in your browser for up to six months and can be changed at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. If you reject or withdraw consent, analytics will stop and analytics cookies will be removed where technically possible. Google may process data outside the EEA; applicable transfer safeguards depend on the provider and circumstances. For details, see Google’s privacy policy.

5. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis.
